Tonya Jackson, Founder and CEO
Voices of Black Grandmothers, VOBG Cares & National Black Grandmothers Day, Certified in Grandfamilies Leadership
Tonya Jackson, the visionary founder of VOBG (Voices of Black Grandmothers). Over the past 18 years, Tonya has been a tireless advocate for grandmothers, creating a powerful network that has provided vital support and resources. She has successfully built a thriving platform that empowers grandmothers, established a national holiday to honor grandmothers, and founded a nonprofit organization that continues to make a significant impact in Illinois, Georgia, Michigan and Maryland.
Tonya is also the creator of Mocha Grands Magazine which will be released at the Gala. The first issue will feature "100 Black Grandmothers You Should Know"
Now, Tonya is leading the charge to develop a groundbreaking kinship program, further expanding her legacy of empowering families and communities.
